Jul. 20th, 2007 01:27 pmWHY am I so tired? I just don't underSTAND (except of course for the part where I do since I only got somewhere around 3, maybe 4 hours of sleep Wed. night, reading Legacy in one sitting, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much).
So I got an email from the grad school today regarding my incomplete from last fall. And how, if I am expecting to graduate this summer that I had better get a grade in by August 10 (although they phrased it much more politely, as in "we would like..." but I'm pretty sure that's not really an optional deadline). What I find funny is the assumption that I actually have any control over this grade! On the plus side, this means I can hand Dr. Barlow a full copy of the paper and say "grade this bitch," because the GRAD SCHOOL says so! Which will mean no more revisions, no more being ignored by her and ultimately NEVER HAVING TO SEE HER AGAIN AND THAT IS TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS. Plus, you know, it will mean that I will actually have graduated, been declared a "master" of somesort and be embarking on a new life of responsible adulthood (*snort* okay, maybe not that last one...).
I am starting the move process this Sunday (hurrah for Chris, Chris and Erin being willing to caravan a bunch of my stuff up to Baltimore!). If
strangecobwebs remembers to bring the digital camera on Saturday then perhaps I will take (and subsequently post) pictures of the not-set up yet apartment.
Tonight will be laundry, preparing for Wildwood tomorrow with
strangecobwebs and
dsudis to celebrate the former's birthday (can't wait!), and trying to do some more packing (Dear GOODNESS I own a helluva lot of books).
Also? I am super jealous of strange's new sidekick. I want one with a fiery fiery vengeance. And I think I may have found a car! I wouldn't be able to get it until the end of August, but I think that is a doable thing.
Now back to pretending to do work!
