lillian_petersonYou've got to love wireless internet access in the classroom. Not so much a plus for aiding the ADD girl attention span, but it does help lessen classmate disruption time. A list of some stuff, neither interesting nor important to those outside myself, I'm sure.
1. Yay for going home and yay for free plane tickets! I fly out Thursday afternoon and return Tuesday afternoon and will be employing only public transportation for the Baltimore legs of the trip! Go me. AND there will apparently be laser tag on Friday with the fabulous Rachel, her equally fabulous husband Justin (purveyor of above mentioned free tickets) and friends. I will also need to figure out how to get a french horn from point A (home = CT) to point B (school = MD). Shipping is expensive. Planes are scary and mean when it comes to large instrument transportation. hmmm.
2. Horn is needed because I have joined the "Gamer Symphony Orchestra" here at school. I am such a happy little geek. Apparently our first performance will be at midnight, opening a performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Hopefully my ancient self will be able to stay awake that late! I'm a bit nervous. I've sat in on the first 2 rehearsals, but I haven't played at ALL for the last almost 4 years so no garauntees on what's going to come out when I sit down to play.
[side note, lots of people appear to be taking notes, wonder if I should be doing that? ah well.]
3. I like books. A lot. I keep spending money and time that I shouldn't on this love.
4. The roommates have revolted and don't want cable tv. This makes me excessively sad and in need of figuring out an alternatve plan. Stupid boys. So not cool at all really. (It's really just one's fault, if he hadn't started whining about it, everything would have been fine). [grumpy face]
