so far today...
Dec. 3rd, 2007 01:30 pm ...I've taken public transportation into work, dealt with the double crisis of a director with an expired computer password and NO INTERNET FOR THE BUILDING (awesome), met for a staff collections meeting re: accessioning donated items, apparently volunteered to build some sort of online database, called applicants to try and convince them to come in for interviews on WEDNESDAY (hello short notice), left messages with said applicants, printed 31 scans of building blueprints, burned a cd of newsletter images and ate 4 slices of cinnamon-sugar toast. Yet I haven't really accomplished any of the things I need to do today, which include (but aren't limited to) calling HP tech support to find out how to make my printer do borderless printing, answer patron reference questions, write small exhibit proposals, clean my desk, organize my files...and ok, yes, some of these things are more ongoing needs as opposed to need-to-be-done-today things, but really. I mean, REALLY.
In other news, Netflix's "watch instantly" feature is pretty awesome and I'm working my way through the first season of 30 Rock, I got to re-watch "Hot Fuzz" on Saturday and it was as funny as the first time, plus I caught a whole bunch more stuff on the second viewing.
I am also possibly falling in love with Matthew Gray Gubler, an actor on "Criminal Minds, "mostly on account of his bitchin' website and his hilarious "documentary." (Also, episodes 2, 3, 4 and 5 <---guest starring James Vanderbeek!). He also directed Whirlwind Heat's Reagan music video (guest starring his little brother). Mostly he seems like a big awesome dork.
