yay caps!

hoorah for the caps...despite horrible play during the game they came through to win in overtime shootout!!! poor alex, they took away is in-game goal. boo that. boo also that i might have strep, always a fun time. but at least they gave me the penicillin right away, so yay for drugs. last night was fun, a motley crew attended, strangecobwebs, joe from myspace and my friend matt. i think joe and matt were a little weirded out by our obvious affection for the hockey song, but that's just too bad for them. and can't wait for the game on sunday, hopefully that will also end in a win for washington!
today i have proved to myself once again that i have no clue how to study and probably do not deserve my place in higher education. i have a midterm on monday which i have the feeling i will meet totally underprepared. oh well. at least i tried...sort of...a little anyway. and i did carry around the damn huge binder ALL week, so that should count for something. after this lovely jaunt at work i am off to grocery shop, which is always a spirit lifter. right. now that i have slid into the extra-boring and banal, i will cease and desist.
